Privacy

The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no advertising tags, and has no sign-up forms. It counts visits, but it cannot tell who you are, and nothing here follows you to any other website.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Callum Palmier Robertson, a sole trader trading as Celia Varen, at 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London W1T 6EB, United Kingdom. For anything on this page, email hello@celiavaren.com.

The pages, fonts and images are served from this site’s own server.
Visitor statistics
Visits are counted using Plausible, which is designed to measure a website without identifying the people using it. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint you or follow you across other websites. There is nothing to consent to, because nothing personal is collected.
What it records is aggregate: how many people visited, which page, roughly where in the world, what kind of device, and which link sent them. It also records a little about how the page was used — whether a button was clicked, how far down the page a visit reached, and whether a purchase completed. None of it is tied to a person, and none of it can be traced back to you. Plausible’s own data policy sets out exactly what is and is not collected.
The web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Those are the host's records, kept for a limited period, and they are not used to build any profile of you.
If you buy the Kit
Checkout is handled by Payhip, who act as the merchant of record. When you buy, the checkout opens over this page and you enter your details with them, not with us. They collect what a sale requires: your name, email address, payment details and the country you are buying from, which they need to calculate tax. What they do with those details is governed by their own privacy policy, at payhip.com/privacy.
We receive the order record — your name, email address, country and what you bought. It is used to deliver the file, to answer you if you get in touch, and to keep the accounting records that tax law requires us to keep for six years.
Payhip’s checkout offers a tick-box to receive product updates by email. It is off unless you tick it. Leave it alone and you are not added to any mailing list and will be sent no marketing — only your receipt, your download link, and any reply to a message you send.
If you email us
Your message and our reply are kept for as long as needed to deal with what you asked about, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it comes up again.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — though records needed for tax and accounting have to be kept for their statutory period. Email hello@celiavaren.com and it will be dealt with within a month.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
